This is the memory that is playin in my head, a lot recently. We were at Moma's and Grady had a guy give him some furniture, he'd bought new stuff, and Grady wanted to bring it to see if Moma wanted any of it. He was drivin the "Burb" & couldn't fit it in the back. Moma told him to use my truck(86 Short Wheel Based Chevy), So he said" Hey, I need the keys to get something for Moma". Well he got in the truck, Adam went to help Uncle Grady, & they took off. Went across the road to the neighbors, just to see what they were doing. He pulled out of their driveway, stomped on the gas & squeeled the tires. When he got back, the bed was loaded down with furniture, he got out and told Moma, "No wonder Tina can't drive. You gotta turn the wheel all the way around before the wheels even start to try to turn." We laughed our butts off over that, and he never let me forget that the steering on my truck wasn't worth spit. Couple days later we were going to town & I said that I'd drive. He asked of I was sure that I could, his steering worked like it was supposed too, and I might wreck just tryin to get to the highway!! And it came up several times after that too, he was always finding something to get us laughin, and tryin to give me grief over my driving & my ride. It was not something that I will ever forget & I'm glad to have memories of laughter and smiles, with all his aggrevation done in love, no matter what it was!
